The Last Airbender - Mannish Boy Trailer
Sets the mood & time perfectly. Beautiful trumpet. Should have won the Oscar
jerry goldsmith was a genius
One of the all time great musical scores.
The soloist is Uan Rasey. He's playing a King Silver Flair trumpet.
❤che meraviglia da brividi❤
This is how it feels to play gta V as an abroad Angelina
Isn't it a great main course. My part favorite 0:00 to 4:10. As an ingredient please take 1. Stan Getz Tout et tranquille 2. Massimo Catalano Foggy night 3. Hareton Salvanini Quarto de hotel 4. Henry Mancini The parting in milan. Bon appetit!
I miss when soundtracks and scores were this gorgeous
this is where you come to meet the end of emotion!
Great film great actor great tune 😊
Uan Racey was the soloist; incredible player.
I was 12 when I first heard this in 76 when it was on tv. Couldn’t find it in a record store. It was way before the internet. So magical hearing it now as an extended version.
“If only…” A phrase that shares a sip of the sweet fruit, but continues to drown us in deep regret. “Where would I be if…” The uncertainty, the unknown, the lost, the forgotten, --> they all share a common feature. That being the void that fills those that seek completion. May our will never break and our legs never give. Carpe diem
Gorgeous music.

Mahaloz!
RAD!
Such a moving piece of music, perfection, always makes me want to cry so sad.
No matter how many times I listen to this music, I never get tired of it. It is so beautiful and mesmerizing. Always puts you in a great state of mind!🎶
Hauntingly beautiful.
I transposed this onto sheet music and I changed the ending and it is absolutely gorgeous
That's some good playing - he knows how to turn back the clock - making it sound like swagger - like a Cadillac
This and the score from Taxi Driver are brilliant pieces of music that I can listen to over and over again. IMO two of the very very best film themes.
A haunting refrain,…one that holds you deeply.
Real music!!!
Forget it Jake, its Chinatown!
Amazing soundtrack.
Jerry Goldsmith is amazing, but also hats off to Uan Rasey, the greatest Hollywood trumpet player of all time.
Andre Previn called him Hollywood’s best player ever.
very nice
Beautiful
Forget it Jake, it's Chinatown
One of the greatest pieces of music I've ever heard, regardless of whether or not it's from a film. Masterfully well done.
Nicholson....Great actor...the man can play any role...
SUBLIME
I’ve heard quite a few covers of this song and it’s always so emotionally resonant, just a beautiful piece of music. It doesn’t matter who plays it, the notes still hold the same power.
Just read “The Big Goodbye”, a book about the making of “Chinatown.” Goldsmith was brought in at the last minute when the previous score was rejected. In ten days, Goldsmith completed and recorded the score that fits the movie perfectly. Genius.
save your city! the angels are dying of thirst
it's just... happened, so sudden... so brief... I don't even have a second to react... it's just goes... everything felt hollow... so unreal... my mind still couldn't process this as the current reality... she's gone... just like that... it's like it's was just a one bad dream
With its ominous piano, this track has a Planet of the Apes vibe...another great Goldsmith score.
I'm not sure there's a more impactful gutpunch of a title drop than in the final line of this film
Forget it, Jake, its' Chinatown.
The Fatman Always Rings Twice
This song is my comfort music.
I like asian but I dont like how they care about animals and kill them brutaly
Unbelievable. Just unbelievable 👏🏽 a classic film and a class soundtrack.
"I've thought about it, Escobar. You're even dumber than you think I think you are"
One In the whole planet ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nightmares is only the gates that leads us into the another "nightmares" : I am living in Iran, unfortunately, and I love this music and I couldn't listen to it, at least for two months I think, because of the internet limits and crisis......... I listen to this music with the many times interrupting that comes from the lost connection of net...... In last two months ago, I couldn't listen to it, one time perfectly, without any loosing the voice.... I just "wish" that I can listening one time Continuously! This music is a great work of art and a great experience of the nightmare, "if" you can passing the nightmare of the using VPN for RUclips, without any interruption. Understand?? I just can say to you western people, that enjoy the civilization
Jerry Goldsmith?? I thought this was Bill Conti. It sounds similar to the end theme to 1980’s ‘Gloria.’
